Cleaning dishes, pots & pans. Keeping kitchen clean & sanitary. Carving and butchering meat, fish, & poultry. Preparing salads, vegetables, desserts, & sandwiches. Frying/saut ing meats, eggs, vegetables, & poultry. Roasting/Broiling & garnishing meats, fish & fowl. Gravy & sauce making. Preparing entrees, soups & sauces. Menu making, recipe building, scaling, and costing. Buffet setup & table scaping. Plating & garnishing. LENGTH OF PROGRAM: 36 Months. OJT WAGE: 1st 2080 hours at $14.50/hr. 2nd 2080 hours at $14.75/hr. 3rd 2080 hours at $15.00/hr. APPRENTICES: New program; no active enrollments or graduates. MIN. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Able to sit, stand, walk, lift, bend, twist, climb and reach above shoulders at least 50% of workday. Continuously lift up to 15 lbs., frequently lift up to 25 lbs., occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Able to routinely push/pull 20 lbs.
